Our Finance and Corporate Services business unit is a fusion of multiple functions including legal and compliance, along with— financial planning and accounting, facilities and building management, procurement, programme and project management, corporate governance, information governance and performance, organisational development and enterprise architecture.

About the role

To ensure that the businesses financial system (NetSuite) provides financial controls, automated process, consistent usable outputs and seamlessly integrates with other business wide systems to provide the finance team and other business users with a fully functioning, best in class financial accounting, management information and reporting tool.

 

Key accountabilities:

  • Be the subject matter expert in all things relating to NetSuite and its integration with other business systems.
  • Have full ownership for identifying, project managing and implementing system improvements, upgrades, and ensuring new business requirements are successfully integrated into procedures and systems
  • Be authoritative, knowledgeable, and able to educate and influence business stakeholders to ensure other business systems are aligned and integrated seamlessly with NetSuite.
  • Create, manage, and deliver a roadmap of systems improvements that help to deliver, automated process efficiencies, enhanced controls, or improves the usability of system data.
  • Periodically carryout a fit for purpose review of all systems and monitor the performance and usability of all finance related systems, getting feedback from all stakeholders.
  • Providing technical systems support to the Finance team and sharing system knowledge with the wider business.

Skills, qualifications, and experience

  • Extensive experience working as a NetSuite systems administration with the working systems knowledge and gravitas to be the Netsuite subject matter expert is essential
  • Proven experience of successfully integrating other business systems into NetSuite
  • Demonstrable experience relating to the project management and delivery of system implementation and upgrades.
  • Able to demonstrate general business understanding to be able to identify, challenge and drive change
  • Experience working within and an understanding of the tasks and processes within a Finance function
  • A self-motivated, confident team player with excellent communication skills able to manage, education and influence multiple stakeholders.
  • Able to solve complex problems to deliver positive business outcomes with minimal supervision.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript and HTML, desirable
  • Salesforce experience, beneficial
